Macy’s partnered with Kylie Cosmetics, the cosmetic line started by Kylie Jenner, to release cosmetic products beginning with a holiday collection next month.

The collaboration between the brands will begin in October when Macy’s will feature a limited-edition holiday collection from Kylie Cosmetics, Macy’s said in a release. The collection will feature cosmetic products, decorative sets and festive ornaments that will be available in store and online, according to the department store.

A selection of Kylie Cosmetics regular products will be available at Macy’s locations in the winter, and the entire Kylie Cosmetics collection will be available on Macy’s website and app and in select Macy’s stores in the U.S. beginning in spring 2023, the retailer said.

“Kylie Cosmetics is a beauty powerhouse,” said Nicolette Bosco, the VP of Beauty Merchandising at Macy’s, in a release. “We are thrilled to welcome their collections to Macy’s and expand our ever-growing portfolio of beauty lines. Connecting our customers to brands that celebrate their own personal style is core to what we do here at Macy’s and with their iconic product offerings and commitment to clean formulations, Kylie Cosmetics couldn’t be a better example of that.”

Macy’s said the holiday collection will include: four matte liquid lipsticks, a velvet liquid lipstick and four high glosses. The products are wrapped in red and bronze packaging along with a  reindeer ornament, according to the retailer.

Kylie Cosmetics launched in 2015 as Kylie Lip Kits when the reality TV star launched her signature lip product. Jenner in 2019 sold a 51% stake of the company for $600 million to the beauty brand Coty, which gave the company a $1.2 billion valuation.

The brand briefly disappeared in 2021, but relaunched in July with reformulated products. The new product formulas are vegan, gluten-free, cruelty-free and paraben-free, Harper's Bazaar reported. Anna Von Bayern, the chief corporate affairs officer at Coty, was named the CEO of Kylie Cosmetics earlier this year, according to a Business Insider report .

The brand since launch has sold products directly to consumers through its website, though the products showed up in brick-and-mortar Ulta Beauty stores through a partnership that began in 2018.

Department stores have upped their beauty offerings to bring in new customers. JCPenney also this week announced that it was rolling out its new, diversity-focused beauty concept at its stores nationwide after it tested the concept at select locations last year. Sephora, who previously partnered with JCPenney, is opening up locations at all of Kohl’s locations in the U.S. Clinique earlier this year launched a new personalized experience called the Clinique Lab inside Macy’s store in Herald Square in New York City.
