Jojo's Bizarre Adventure has some of the flashiest and most impressive outfits in anime.

Since its serialization in Shonen Jump in the late '80s, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure has showcased some of anime's most fashionable characters and formed a unique identity thanks to its recognizable art style. Hirohiko Araki has a keen eye for fashion and many of the series' characters reflect it.

The franchise has collaborated with legendary brands such as Gucci and Balenciaga, with flagship characters like Jotaro, Jolyne, and Rohan modeling the designs. Though some designs are undeniably bizarre, Araki combines absurdities with high fashion to deliver exquisite looks that many fans would love to wear in real life.

As Steel Ball Run's protagonist, Johnny Joestar is quite the fashionable jockey. Though his outfit is primarily blue, it's full of colorful accents and motifs throughout the outfit such as stars and colorful stripes. His statement piece is his cap.

It's covered in a bunch of tiny stars and is adorned with a golden horseshoe. His outfit matches, with the pants covered in a similar star motif with a black and magenta pattern on the side to match his wrist cuffs. In the winter, he changes it for a long-sleeved alternative with a fur-lined collar.

Part 8's Josuke is much different from part 4's pompadour-rocking protagonist. In Jojolion, Josuke dons a sailor outfit with a few interesting motifs. He turns an average sailor suit into a crop top with emblems of anchors and compass roses.

He wears a neckpiece with a screw head on the tie. Interestingly, his sailor cap has the same palm motif as all of Jotaro's hats. While most of the other Joestars keep their star-shaped birthmarks hidden, Josuke's shirt has a rather low cut, showing off the marking and his collarbones.

While Johnny's jockey attire opted for more of a patriotic display of stars and stripes, Diego Brando wears a metallic combination of gold and teal. He always wears his helmet with "DIO" clumsily mounted on the front. He rarely buckles it to his face, even when riding a horse.

Though his helmet is a statement on its own, the turtleneck is arguably the most stylish part of the outfit. It's a skin-tight metallic jumper that's a dark, shiny teal with a golden grid print across the torso.

Rohan has starred in plenty of Jojo's spinoffs, like Rohan at the Louvre or Rohan Kishibe Goes To Gucci. Most notably, he's the star of Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan. His outfit in this particular one-shot pays homage to the mangaka's love of creating art. His blue cropped vest has pen-tip motifs all over the front and his earrings match.

He even has the same pen motif on his wristbands. Rohan also wears matching pants that connect to his shows with golden studs going all the way down his leg. It's a simple outfit in theory, but it shows off Araki's impressive attention to detail.

Giorno Giovanna's outfit in Golden Wind was a classy purple suit with plenty of interesting design choices on the top half. He has a high-neck collar with wing motifs on either side, but it cuts out to expose his chest in somewhat of a heart shape. In the anime, he only wears one ladybug on his chest.

In the manga, however, he has at least three of them; one on either side of his chest and one on the zipper. This stylish suit, paired with his instantly recognizable hairstyle, makes him one of Jojo's classiest fashionistas.

A white suit could come off as pretty basic, but Bruno Bucciarati's is nothing short of eye-catching. In classic Jojo's style, Araki took a basic white suit and turned it into something chic and instantly recognizable. The zippers throughout the suit are reflective of Bruno's Stand, Sticky Fingers.

The cutout in the center of his chest reveals a lacy top or a tattoo underneath. The suit is covered in black dots that look like miniature paint strokes, which serve to elongate the outfit's sleek silhouette.

While many JBA outfits only have one or two statement pieces, Gyro's outfit has everything and more. The eyes don't know where to go when looking at it, but that's not bad in Gyro's case. There are several statement pieces throughout the outfit that make Gyro so memorable.

He has grills on his teeth that read, "GO! GO! ZEPPELI!" and never leaves the house without his signature green lipstick. His belt buckle is rather crude since it's a pair of hands that point at his crotch. He also can't go anywhere without his signature Steel Balls, which he keeps on his hips. Gyro's hat is also pretty unique since it has slits to allow airflow underneath.

Jolyne's signature look in Stone Ocean has a few variations, but none of them are as great as the original jumpsuit. Though they all have a similar color scheme and spider-web-like pattern, the jumpsuit with the torso cutouts is sleek but still edgy enough to reflect Jolyne's badass personality that's unlike any other.

The most recognizable part of her outfit is the heart-shaped decal in the middle of her chest with a butterfly. It matches the tattoo on her forearm. Just like how ladybugs have become synonymous with Giorno's style, butterflies are a major symbol for Jolyne.

DIO's final outfit in Stardust Crusaders makes him look like the ultimate supervillain. His keen eye for style sets him apart from other shonen villains. Mainly donning black and gold, the vampire proved that he grew stronger since Phantom Blood and upped his style game, too. His gold jacket runs down in the back and connects to the matching chaps, which expose his skin-tight black bodysuit.

The best part of this entire get-up, however, is the green heart motifs throughout the outfit. He has one on his head, his belt, and two on his kneecaps. Without these accessories, the look would feel like it was missing something. It was a genius design choice on Araki's part.

Since he's been in multiple parts of the story, Jotaro's outfit has undergone many changes. In part 3, he looked like the average delinquent. In parts 4 and 5, he wore white suits with similar motifs from part 3, but it was clear that he significantly cleaned up his look. In part 6, Jotaro was back to his edgier style roots. It's clear that Jotaro's style grew up with him throughout the story.

The look many people think of when recalling Jotaro, however, is his iconic Stardust Crusaders outfit. He was cemented as the flagship protagonist during that part, so it makes sense. The most recognizable pieces of this outfit were the giant golden chain connected to his school uniform, the dual belts that mimicked Joseph's headbands in Battle Tendency, and his iconic hat with the palm motif.
