A throwback for the ages

Deciding what to wear to work can be a total struggle. After years of WFH, many of us have re-entered the office and are currently grappling with how to look chic and professional all at once while battling the heatwave that has swept the UK as well as totally unpredictable rain storms which seem to pop out of nowhere (and ruin our summery, yet still work-appropriate fit) en route to our 9am meeting.

But for Kylie Jenner, founder of Kylie Cosmetics and a member of one of the most fashion-forward families in the world, things are a touch more straight-forward. The benefits of being the boss? Getting to wear whatever you want to work events, basically. That's probably why Kylie's latest look, worn for a Kylie Cosmetics product launch party in Los Angeles, is just so darn good.

The event was held at Ulta Beauty on Wednesday 24 August and was in celebration of her newest line of lip kits. And because we all know the Kardashian-Jenners like to look out for one another, her sisters Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Kendall were all in attendance, as was her mother Kris, daughter Stormi and celebs like Lori Harvey.

To mark the event, and step out in total boss style, Kylie wore a look that seriously stopped us in our tracks. With a plunging button-down front and a corset detail at the waist, her white denim mini dress was channelling swashbuckling Victorian style in the best way. She paired the look with white stilettos and the most adorable Judith Leiber bejewelled clutch, in the shape of a lipstick.

The white custom dress was designed by Ghanaian designer Kwame Adusei and styled by sister duo Alexandra Rose Grandquist and Mackenzie Granquist, who have been behind some of Kylie's fire looks this summer - including her shredded Marine Serre dress and Americana Met Gala oufit.
