Ilia's newest product is unlike anything I've tried lately. It's formulated with brightening niacinamide, SPF 40 mineral sunscreen, and has just the right amount of tint to cover up any dark spots. It blends seamlessly into your skin and absorbs as fast as a regular serum, and I've been turning to it anytime I need to quickly hydrate my skin this summer.
Perhaps Ilia's most famous product, the Super Serum Skin Tint is a lightweight tinted liquid moisturizer that even Partnerships Editor Ariel Scotti was "hesitant to call" makeup since it really feels more like skincare. She was so impressed that it didn't catch any dry patches on her skin, and it left her face looking "more even in color," "more hydrated," and generally brighter without the need to add more products to her look.
When I tested out the Multi-Stick, it wowed me with how easily it glided on my skin, how it gave just the right amount of pigment for a natural "no-makeup" makeup look, and how it easily doubles as eyeshadow when I'm too lazy to dig up my actual palette from my makeup bag. Like the Super Serum Skin Tint, it has a barely-there formula that seamlessly combines with your tinted moisturizer or foundation (or just moisturizer that you have on) to cover up any hyperpigmentation. Plus, it's made with vitamin C to really brighten dark spots like under-eye circles over time.
Having dealt with a fair share of drying lipsticks over the years, I now almost exclusively prefer tinted lip balms that will actually hydrate my skin while giving them some color. The Balmy Tint Hydrating Lip Balm does just that: It has rosehip oil and shea butter to really moisturize and soften lips, and is so buildable that it can easily be used from day to night if you want something lighter for work, but more pigment for dinner with friends.
Like the tinted lip balm, the Balmy Gloss Tinted Lip Oil by Ilia is made with skincare ingredients (in this case, hyaluronic acid) to really moisturize your lips—making it perfect for super chapped skin that need a dose of moisture even in the summer. I use it every time I want a quick swab of color on my lips, but instead of feeling sticky like some other lip glosses can, Ilia's lip oil is so lightweight that I never feel like I have any makeup on my lips at all.
