At the Spring Summer Show 2023, Nothing just teased its next pair of TWS earbuds. Yes, quite an unusual way to announce a new pair of wireless earbuds. However, take a closer look at the case – yes, the case only since that's all Nothing has to share at the moment – and you understand why a fashion show was chosen. The Nothing Ear (Stick), as Nothing likes to call it, goes for a completely unique design of the earbuds, and it sure looks exciting.

The stick-like shape of the case could be easy to slide into the pockets, and the same transparent design from previous Nothing products can be seen here. Part of the case has a red accent, which adds to the lipstick case-like aesthetic. Weirdly, Nothing chose not to reveal the shape and design of the earbuds themselves. They can be seen tucked in the ears and they resemble the existing ear(1) earbuds, but we can't make out whether the silicon eartips are present.

And no, there's no Glyph LED lighting on the Nothing Ear (Stick), although we wished Nothing included that. We miss it.

In a statement to The Verge, Nothing clarifies that the Ear (Stick) is a completely new product and not just a new case for the old ear (1) stick. The case is new and so are the earbuds.

While Nothing is yet to reveal any of the specifications and features, rumours have long said that the Ear (Stick) will be a more affordable variant of the previous models with certain omissions. The Ear (Stick) could skip on the ANC feature as well as the silicon eartips. Even then, the price will be somewhat similar to the ANC equipped model in Europe.

Along with the Ear (Stick), Nothing also showcased some weird carrying bags and dresses to hold the Nothing Phone (1). Sadly, no new colour for the Nothing Phone (1) has been shown. We would have liked to see the semi transparent design of the Nothing Phone (1) done in bright red, other than the standard black and white variants.

At the moment, the Nothing Phone (1) is available at a discounted price during the Flipkart sale. The price of all the variants has gone down by Rs. 2,000, and there are other debit card offers bringing down the price further.
