Selena Gomez nailed business chic as she arrived to the launch of her brand Rare Beauty's Kind Words lip collection in Santa Monica on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old Disney Channel alum showed a lot of leg in a black spliced blazer dress with a black lace accent.

She posed up in front of a bright red Rare Beauty backdrop advertising that the makeup line is available exclusively at Sephora stores.

Her blazer dress had black satin lapels and structure shoulders.

Selena completed her fashion-forward look with a pair of heeled ankle strap sandals that showed off her nude toned pedicure.

The actress appeared to be rocking a fresh blow out as her brunette hair flowed down her chest in voluminous strands.

She accessorized with a pair of classic hoop earrings and painted her nails an edgy maroon shade for a subtle pop of color.

Being that Rare Beauty's newest collection is lip-centric, Selena painted her pout a muted red shade paired with a complimentary brick red liner for some added depth.

The musician launched her very own makeup line in September 2020 after months of teasing her entry into the beauty space.

The initial drop included the highly rated Rare Beauty Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation, which comes in 48 shades, as well as the Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer and the clump-free Perfect Strokes Universal Volumizing Mascara.

She told fans at the time that she'd been working on Rare Beauty for two years and that the brand would be focused on embracing one's unique beauty through makeup.

'I think Rare Beauty can be more than a beauty brand. I want us all to stop comparing ourselves to each other and start embracing our uniqueness,' she expressed in a Rare Beauty promo video.

'You're not defined by a photo, a like, or a comment. Rare Beauty isn't about how other people see you. It's about how you see yourself.'

Since then, Rare Beauty has added a variety of lip products, highlighters, bronzers, blushes, primers, brow products and more to the line.

For Rare Beauty's latest expansion, Selena decided to add two new lip products to her ever-expanding line.

The Kind Words collection - slated for a July 7 release - features 'made-to-match' lipsticks and lip liners that will allow fans of the brand to achieve a 'wearable' pout.

The Kind Words Matte Lipstick is described as being 'pigment-rich' with a 'buttery' formula and a flattering 'soft matte' finish.

'Available in a range of wearable shades, that hugs lips in pure comfort all day,' reads the description on Sephora.

Wearable: Speaking on the collection, Selena explained that she wanted to 'create a classic lipstick that's truly comfortable' with shades that are 'wearable, and just perfect for every day'

The Kind Words Lip Liners are 'super creamy, waterproof' and are supposed to glide on 'like a balm to define lips.' There is also a built-in sharpener for convenience.

Like the lipsticks, the Kind Words Lip Liners come in 10 versatile shades ranging from mauve to peach.

Speaking on the collection, Selena explained that she wanted to 'create a classic lipstick that's truly comfortable' with shades that are 'wearable, and just perfect for every day.'

She continued: 'This is everything I've ever wanted in a lip liner. Super smooth and doesn't tug on your lips and made to last all day without feeling sticky.'
